Buying the right Electrolux tumble dryer can sometimes be a little tricky. With a large amount of different features and functions, which one should you choose? Here are a few things to think about so you get the right dryer for you.
Size it Up
Increasingly, space is becoming an issue for many of us. But that doesn't mean we have to compromise on our tumble dryer. Electrolux have standalone dryers and combined washer-dryers, perfect for saving a bit of room. You could even stack a dryer on top of a washing machine, which makes transferring your laundry from one to the other quick and easy. Venting dryers can also be wall-mounted on top of your top load washing machine!
Are you drying the odd emergency pair of jeans or is there a constant stream of laundry going from washing machine to dryer? Electrolux dryers have a laundry capacity of up to 9 kilograms. But, you can still dry a small load in a large capacity dryer with our Sensor Dryer technology as the machine can sense when the clothes are dry.
Is it always rush, rush, rush in your house? Electrolux dryers have innovative programs like Easy Iron that cut the amount of ironing time. Leaving you free to do more enjoyable things.
When you've been out on a wet, rainy day there's nothing worse than soaking wet shoes. Well, you can use your Electrolux tumble dryer (selected models) to dry shoes, woolens and many other special items with a special drying rack. And with the intensive dry program you can dry difficult clothes like jeans in next to no time.
Type of dryers
Which is better: Venting, Condensing or Heat Pump dryers? Let us help you choose the perfect dryer. Vented dryers work by extracting hot damp air through a venting hose, which requires the dryer to be placed near an open window or a vent outlet to vent out the hot air. Condenser dryers do not require venting hose. The moisture from the clothes is condensed and collected in a container, which needs to be emptied regularly. Heat pump dryers are most energy efficient – they use 30-50% less energy than an A-class dryer. The heat is circulated and recycled within the dryer. Hence, reducing energy consumption. Heat pump dryers also uses a lower temperature and more gentle drying, taking the best care for your favorite garment.
